The Company

Swandive Theatre is a design focused theatre company founded in 2005 by Meg DiSciorio and Damon Runnals. 
Utilizing an "inside out" process that involves all artists working on a production (designers, actors, production team members) from the very beginning, we create wholly realized and intricately designed theatrical productions that audiences have called "magical", "transformative", and "dazzling".

Staff

Meg DiSciorio- Founder Co-Artistic Director
Meg is a native New Yorker who earned a BA in theatre arts from Hartwick College. She moved to Minneapolis in 2004 after working in several regional theaters both on the East coast and the midwest. She started as an actor and stage carpenter and has gradually made her way to director and producer. She co-directed Swandive's Defying Gravity, An Outopia for Pigeons, and Crumble (Lay Me Down, Justin Timberlake) and has developed the annual playreading series Veggie Stock Theater.

Damon Runnals- Founder Co-Artistic Director
Damon hails from Massachusetts and received his BA in theatre arts from Hartwick College a year after Meg. He founded Swandive Theatre, with Meg, in 2005 and has directed the majority of the productions. Currently he is the executive director of The Southern Theater and is the brain,, and driving force behind their ARTshare program. For more info ARTshare info click here.
